My diary is different --- and generic now. However, I forgot that changing my template would cause me to lose all my links. What a pain. I don't have comments or anything either...but I might add them later. Not sure right now.

Anyhow, I'm moving Ro baby stuff elsewhere. I've been trying out some new things but haven't found something I'm happy with yet. I'm not going to pay for diaryland anymore. If I could post a picture, it would be a picture of me flipping the bird to Mr. Smales (the guy who runs diaryland). Jerk.

Ro boy
Roen's made so many, many changes. He adds two or three new words a day to his vocabulary. Just this week, he learned you could blow air through a straw and make bubbles in your drink. And, he learned how to "mouse" on the computer. He can now navigate to something click on it to pick it up and take it somewhere else and click to release it. In this way, he fed Elmo cupcakes and also decorated a jack-o-lantern. He may have been able to pick up on these skills earlier but his straw usage and computer usage are both quite restricted.

poo poo fun
Sunday, Roen was playing in the living room and we were all sitting in the kitchen eating lunch. Roen strolled around the corner with two or three brown streaks painted across both his cheeks. He looked like he was trying to do Indian war paint or something. At first, I thought he drew on himself with a marker and then realized it was POO! augh. He put up quite a fight during clean up as well. Although, he's become tolerant of hand washing. Face washing still causes him to rebel. You'd think kids would be fundamentally appalled by poop but it's clearly a learned behavior.

impending hair cut
I absolutely must take Roen to get his hair cut before people start mistaking him as a member of the band, Oasis. He's a shaggy, little thing right now. No, haircut since late August. It's hard for me to do it because he hates it so much.

Baby bun
I'm at 19 weeks. Yesterday, we had the first ultrasound for the baby bun. We were hoping to find out the sex but no such luck. However, everything they check for looked good and I still loved every second of it. Ultrasounds are so wonderful. We may have to go back because they couldn't do the spine cross section for spina bifida either. So, we may get another chance to find out if it's a boy or a girl. My fingers are crossed.

Although this baby moves around a lot, it's more muffled compared to Ro boy. The tech said it was because my placenta was across the front of the uterus, which explains it all. More frontal cushioning.
