I had my first weird pregnancy craving. I was in Wegmans and I saw the Mediterranean Olive bar and I was very drawn to it. I couldn't take my eyes off all the olives, so I bought a dozen garlic stuffed green olives and I ate them all in the car. I didn't throw up either. I like olives but not usually in quantity and certainly not without complimentary food or drink to go with them - like pizza. I can't believe I sat there and ate a dozen olives straight. Man, they hit the spot though. In fact, I feel like going and buying more.
Open Sesame
Ro boy knows how to open the door. He learned last week but it took him a little while to actually accomplish the task. However, I asked him if he wanted to go "bye-bye" today and he ran to the door, threw it open, and raced down the stairs. Meanwhile, I was stunned to hear the door slam shut and had to frantically try to grab everything we needed and run after him. Yow. Fortunately, he can't get out of the actual apartment building. In the future, I have to make sure he's fully ready before I start asking if he'd like to go "bye-bye".
Laundry showers
Hardly anything fills Ro boy with as much glee as fresh, clean laundry. It doesn't stay clean for long because he loves burrowing into a pile of clothes still warm from the dryer. Then, he wants us to pick up the clothes and dump them on his head as if it's raining socks, t-shirts, and underwear. It's pretty funny. He can play in fresh laundry for about half an hour before he tires of it.
