I was feeling worse by the day. Yesterday, my throat was raw and sore from throwing up so much. However, my mother told me that she read taking fish oil helps with morning sickness. I was dubious. I take fish oil anyway but I quit when I found out I was pregnant but I took it last night and I felt so much better today. Coincidence? I don't know. We'll find out.

House
Husband, Stepfather, and my Mother worked on the hardwoods all weekend. They look so amazing!!! I felt pretty guilty not doing anything but the sound of drum sanders terrifies Ro boy so he couldn't even be at the house.

We also had our first moving snafu. Time Warner disconnected our cable modem on Friday, so we've been without Internet. We requested they cut off our modem on November 17th but they cut it on October 17th. To make it up to us, they're not charging us $20 to move our service.

First bee/wasp sting
Ro boy was stung by a wasp on Saturday because I was accosted by a girl scout and her mother. Anyhow, Ro boy started jabbering at the girl and then he and the girl started walking around the yard together while the mother talked to me. She told me her daughter had no friends so she managed a girl scout troop to give her the illusion of having friends. I was shocked by this announcement but she followed it up with saying she has some sort of expressive disorder. Suddenly, Ro boy started screaming his head off. I ran to get him and the girl looked at her mom and said "Can we go to the next house now?" I could suddenly see why she had no friends. The mother grabbed her and asked her what she did to Ro boy. Ro boy was holding up his hand which looked really weird, puffy and red, and I thought she might've stepped on it or something. Her mother dragged her off and I examined his hand for anything that might be causing pain but I couldn't see anything except ever growing puffiness. The mother comes running back and says her daughter said he picked up a bee. There's a crab apple tree in the front yard that's getting chopped down because it's horribly messy but mostly because it attracts bees and wasps. I finally found the sting mark on Ro boy's thumb but his whole hand was affected by the venom. It was so red/purple and puffy. He screamed for about 45 minutes. It was so awful. I feel no guilt about chopping the tree down now. It seemed a bit ruthless before but not now. I had been keeping Ro boy away from the front yard because of the bees but I thought the weather was too cool for them to be out. Alas, that was not the case. Ro boy's ok now though. The redness went away after an hour. The puffiness after another hour and then his thumb was just twice the size of his other thumb for another few hours. Sigh. He's gotten so used to picking up worms, roly-polys, and ladybugs that I'm sure he thought the wasp would be just as fun and interesting as they were.

Peek-a-boo
Later, Ro boy was playing peek-a-boo with us from inside his kitchen cabinet. He has one dedicated to his toys and he sits in it a lot and closes the door. Eventually, he pulled me over and pushed me toward the cabinet. I sat in it but I can't get all the way in which annoyed Ro boy. He kept pushing on my head and trying to shove the door shut. He likes shutting me in the bathroom a lot and then opening/closing the door over and over and clearly he wanted to do this with the cabinet too. Mommy's a little too big for cabinets though.
