We were iced in all day. It sucked. Fortunately, Ro baby was in a good mood. He didn't go as stir crazy as I expected. It's really hard to keep him from destroying the house when he's in high spirits, but he was really sweet for the most part.

I put his little arm chair on top of the couch and he had a lot of fun crawling into it all day. He looked like a little king sitting up there eating snacks and watching videos. I snapped this picture just before nap time.

My parents lost power, but we still haven't so we may be having house guests tomorrow if they don't get their power back on.

Ro baby's got a cough. He's hacking away in his sleep -- and ice pellets are still pinging off the windows. I hope we don't lose power too.

Oh yeah, I finished my scarf. I didn't think I'd have an opportunity to wear it until next winter but that's not the case. I learned how to bind off the knitting from instructions in a book, which is exciting because I'm usually not good at learning how to do that type of thing from a book. Maybe I'll be able to master other knitty things from a book too.
